QGIS is the leading open source desktop GIS and needs a wide range of contributors. Many talented programmers contribute to the source code, but there is a big need for contributors to write and keep up to date QGIS documentation on the web. This workshop will show participants how to contribute to QGIS documentation using the online interface at https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Documentation/tree/master/source/docs/user_manual, and through GitHub & Git.
No prerequisite technical skill required - just a web browser and a GitHub account (sign up at https://github.com/).
